Uranus in Taurus – USA leads disruption in world order from 2018 – 2025
The planet Uranus generally spends 8 or so years in a particular sign and on 15 May 2018, it will enter Taurus, where it has not been since 1934 through 1941.
If Taurus is about security and stability and Uranus is about revolution (but once in power can be autocratic and totalitarian), then whilst Uranus is in Taurus, we might expect disruption in stability and security on a world-wide level. The last time Uranus was in Taurus, the rise of Nazi Germany and Italian Fascism (not to mention Japan’s invasion of China) most certainly disrupted world security and stability. If you go back further, you’ find it connected with the start of the protestant reformation (Saturn and Pluto were conjunct in Capricorn in 1517 just like they are right now.
Uranus will remain in Taurus until July 2025 when it enters Gemini.[1]
An ingress chart is used to take the pulse of the period which it covers (2018-2025) for a particular country. This chart is set for the location of government (Washington, DC) of the country (USA) in question at the exact moment of the ingress of Uranus into Taurus.
Leo is rising in this chart hence the Sun is the chart ruler and its position and aspects are key to the overall situation. Each planet in this chart symbolises a function that binds Americans into the nation- state and with the Sun, that function relates to its political leadership, most importantly, the office of president.
The Sun in this chart is high in the sky in the 10th house, where it is the natural ruler. Clearly during this period, the American presidency – as a political position and function – will be highly visible.
That the Sun in this chart has just formed a lunation (i.e. a new moon) is also key. A new cycle will have just commenced, although just like with any new moon, it’s still too dark to tell yet how it will unfold. Also, because the Moon represents the common people, we know that this new cycle must have to do with how the president and the presidency is perceived by and related to the electorate (common people).
When looking at an ingress chart such as this, we need to concentrate on ‘angular’ planets – i.e. planets which make close aspects to the angles (cusps of 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses). These are the planetary power brokers in question.
In this chart, there are three such planets:
- Uranus – (high in the sky at ‘high noon’ at the MC, or 10th house cusp at 29 Aries 20). Clearly the most powerful planet (by placement) in this chart.
- Mars – (at 29 Capricorn 47) makes a very, very close square aspect not only to that Uranus (0 Taurus 0) but also to the MC.
- Mercury – (at 3 Taurus 19) also in the 10th house and conjunct the MC although out of sign.
Put these all together, and expect some disruptive (Uranus) news (Mercury) about the president and/or presidency (MC and 10th house) that will have something to do with the military (Mars). The overall tone for the next seven years (lunation at ingress) will be disruption in world security and stability (think rise of Nazi Germany) and the United States as a nation state as well as its political leadership will be prominently (as was Hitler and Germany) featured in whatever unfolds.
[1] Note that the ingress of Uranus into Gemini has a long-established link for the US with war – in particular the American Revolution, the Civil War, and WWII. Note also that the ingress of Neptune into Aires in 1861 heralded to the day, the first shot of the America Civil war and Neptune will enter Aries again in March 2025. This suggests that 2025 will be a very significant year for the nation state we know now as the United States of America.

Thank you very much. This is very sobering news, but it is much better to be forewarned. Most of us Americans love our democracy, and we will continue to resist the current POTUS’ autocratic efforts. The US has overcome several existential threats in our relatively short history. We shall overcome again.

I sincerely hope that you’re right – I too am American born and bred but I’ve lived abroad now for nearly 30 years (almost 1/2 my life). Astrologically its a tough time ahead for both the US and democracy- fingers crossed – it’s the only way that I want to live👍🏻 thanks for visiting my blog and taking time to comment!

Blind Russian prophet Baba Vanga made several predictions that didn’t come true, but many were spot on. The one that I always wonder about is that she predicted that our 44th President (Obama) would be the last commander-in-chief.
This is debatable, but Trump’s Presidency could be contested to be rigged (Hilary won popular vote along with Russia interfering in the election) and therefore Trump didn’t win the election in the way our founders established and would that make Obama the last true President? I am probably reaching here.
However, with Pluto in Capricorn (dissolving the government system) and Uranus moving into Taurus soon, I don’t see it as far-fetched to wonder if our system does fracture somehow?
I might be trying to get the current views to fit Baba Vanga’s prediction though. 🙂

This is a disturbing prediction; however, I have hope, because I keep in mind that: 1. predictions are notoriously difficult, and 2. the energies of planets and signs contain many possible effects, and 3. The rest of the planets are in a different configuration than they were in 1934-1941. The USA are aroused politically at this time, and our population is much more diverse racially and ethnically than Germans were at that time. Other differences include that Germany was not a unified nation state, they were living with runaway inflation, and they were suffering from the effects of their loss in World War I. The mythology Hitler used was very powerful, reaching back to the days of the Norsemen. There is no comparable mythology for the United States, largely because, as I said, we are not one ethnic group with one set of roots.
